Kendra Cardoza is the incredible talent behind the blog called the Paleo Paparazzi. Her story may sound similar in a lot of ways to so many who come to paleo.
Kendra grew up eating lots of desserts, many times dessert was first before any meal. Growing up her diet was very unhealthy; she was addicted to sugar and junk food! In high school, lunch usually consisted of pizza, donuts, and Doritos.
It wasn’t until 2010 that Kendra started to think more seriously about what she was putting into her body when her mom was diagnosed with uterine cancer. She started adding more vegetables to her diet but was still eating lots of processed foods. Then in 2011, when Kendra started blacking out from excruciating pain in her left side, she realized her body was very sick and went to see a doctor. A few months later, she had surgery and was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called endometriosis.
This interview is all about the impact food has on Kendra’s life, and of course product recommendations!!
